Steve Nipper, General Manager

Steve is considered the "old timer" with his 16 years of experience as the General Manager. His extensive background in water purification, reverse osmosis and soft water systems make him the Guru if you will. He is a native Santa Barbarian, participates in just about every fund raising event in Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez Valley and Ventura. In his spare time he serves on the Board of Trustees for the Anacapa School, loves to snowboard and spend time (when he has time!) enjoying friends and family.

Pure Water Systems

Martin A., Sr., Driver
The biggest truck we have has been driven around town carrying our Portable Exchange Tanks by Mr. Martin Ayala.  Bringing you 13 years of experience, Martin is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.  He will go above and beyond, anytime….with a smile on his face.  Martin enjoys playing soccer (no wonder he is in such great shape!) in his spare time.

Brian M ., Service Manager
Brian has been with us for a several years now and continues to excel in his technical knowledge and trouble shooting ability.  He has quickly become one of our best installers and Manages our "exceptional" Service Department. As one of our most "inked" employees as he sports some very peaceful aquatic life tattoos on his forearms (they are really great!).  On the weekends (if he isn't busy working his tail off) he enjoys (long walks on the beach….just kidding) hanging out at the beach and surfing.

Kevin F., Service Technician
"Service" is Kevin’s middle name (not really it’s Michael).  As far as service technicians go, he ranks right up there with his fellow technicians.  Don’t be fooled by his mild mannered demeanor, this trouble shooter, installer can handle any situation. He has an extensive background in handling and plumbing hazardous materials leak prevention.  During his leisure hours Kevin can be found enjoying all Santa Barbara outdoor activities.

Lori Z
California native: If you are looking to join the Pure/Matilija team then Lori is your go-to gal.  Her extensive background in corporate human resources creates a constant friendly and efficient atmosphere for our coworkers and customers.  In her spare time (when not recruiting the cream of the crop) you will likely find her gardening, cooking at home or just enjoying the town.

Phillip C.  - Customer Service

Our latest and greatest addition to the Pure/Matilija Team! Phillip works out of our Santa Barbara Office handling the day-to-day operations (with a smile!). On his days off you can usually find Phillip out and about in Beverly Hills enjoying!

Justin S.,  Salt Technician
Justin has recently claimed the title of "powerhouse" who has been known to deliver upwards near 7500 pounds of salt and potassium per day by hand!  As with all of our wonderful employees Justin is always happy to help our customers in any way he can!  During his off time, Justin likes to relax and just take it easy!

Safari H. Driver

We were in the right place at the right time for Safari to end up in our hands. He has been a lifesaver (literrally!). Safari has been your substitute driver in Martin's absence. Safari has some big shoes to feel and does it very nicely. Our wonderful Martin has been out but will be returning sometime in the next couple of weeks.

Brandon H.Business Development
A Ventura native and Buena High School graduate. If you have any questions on any of our products feel free to approach Brandon. On the weekends you'll find Brandon spending time with the love's of his life Tamra, daughter Madison and their newest addition to the family Ashlyn Rose. His passion is to ride dirt bikes, play no limit Texas Holdem and coach youth soccer.

Corey K., Delivery Driver
His route encompasses Santa Barbara, Ventura, Ojai, Oakview.  Corey has lived in Ventura for over 24 years and is a U.S. Army Veteran who served two tours of duty while stationed in Germany.  He is married to his beautiful wife Shelly.  They are Ventura High School sweethearts.  Corey enjoys his free time at the beach and playing league and tournament softball as well as Rugby.

Jesse K., Delivery Driver Jesse is reponsible for Santa Barbara, Santa Paula, Fillmore, Westlake, Thousand Oaks, Agoura, Simi Valley. No you are not seeing double Corey is Jesse's brother.On the weekends you I'm sure you will see these two brothers enjoying the town.

Brent comes to us with the enthusiasm and know how which is a key factor with this crew. When you call the Ventura Office you will most likely have this man on the line (talk about service!). He will take care of any thing you need and often times, this hands on Manager will be delivering bottles to your door himself! In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend soaking up rays on the beach.
